- Romeo and Juliet (1968)
The 1968 film adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, directed by Franco Zeffirelli, is my personal favorite take on the classic love story. Starring a 15 year old Olivia Hussey and a 17 year old Leonard Whiting, this film feels so genuine and real. The chemistry the actors have is truly palpible, and adds to the overall experience more than I've ever noticed in a film.
